ZHAO Xiao Ming

Mr. Zhao Xiaoming is the Heriot-Watt University (UK) Ph. D, the distinguished professor and doctoral supervisor of Tianjin, the expert of Tianjin Thousand People Plan and the leading talent of Binhai New Area. He is also the member of the editorial board of EI journals such as "Materials Guide", the secretary-general of special textiles branch of China Industrial Textiles Association, and the director of Flexible Protection Materials Research Center of  Tiangong University. Mr. Zhao has been keeping working on the reach of high performance protective (including nuclear radiation protection) textile materials for more than 30 years. During the study and work at the University of Leeds and Heriot-Watt University (UK), he was engaged in and responsible for many EU and UK national projects. The research results were applied to the development of medical textiles and the design and performance evaluation of biochemical protection materials and so on. He has been undertaking many national and provincial level research projects. In the past four years, Mr. Zhao has published one monograph in English, nearly 100 academic papers in domestic and international journals, and applied for more than 30 patents (25 have been granted).
